Tyler handles a wide variety of cases, including FELA, commercial matters, labor and employment litigation, insurance coverage disputes and appellate/post judgment litigation for a wide range of clients from railroads and heavy manufacturers to privately held LLC's and individuals.
Tyler has extensive litigation experience, having spent over 7 years with the Illinois Attorney General’s office. During that time, Tyler specialized in prosecuting employee termination cases before a variety of merit boards including the Illinois State Police, the Civil Service Commission, and the Secretary of State. In addition, Tyler also defended government agency employee appeals on both sides of contested employment issues while supervising the Civil Prosecutions Unit. In addition to his experience at the AG’s office, Tyler was also an Administrative Law Judge with the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, where he presided over a wide range of administrative hearings, as well as trained and supervised Administrative Law Judges.
