Matthew Hammer

Matthew handles litigation and employment matters including FELA, commercial litigation, professional malpractice, insurance coverage and appellate/post judgment litigation for a wide range of clients from railroads and heavy manufacturers to privately held LLC's and individuals.

Prior to joining Daley Mohan Groble, Matthew was a litigation associate with Donohue, Brown Mathewson & Smyth LLC where he concentrated his practice in commercial litigation, appeals, product liability and professional negligence. Matthew started his career in the Illinois Attorney General's Office where he defended employers and individual managers against employment torts, discrimination claims, and retaliation claims under ยง1983, ADA, Title VII and the Human Rights Act and also defended agency regulatory decisions on administrative appeal.
