Heather Renée Adams

Heather is a trial attorney who specializes in labor, employment and civil litigation, representing clients from diverse industries, including Class I railroads; local, state and federal government; higher education; medical centers; Fortune 500 banking and financial service providers and global retailers. She has litigated matters on behalf of these clients before the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Cook County Circuit Court and administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Illinois Department of Human Rights and the Illinois Human Rights Commission.

Heather works with employers to develop strategies and trainings for their Compliance and Personnel Divisions as well as leads internal investigations into complaints of workplace harassment, retaliation and discrimination. In addition, Heather counsels employers on responding to administrative agency investigations and charges of Title VII, Illinois Human Rights Act, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA and various whistleblower violations.

Prior to joining Daley Mohan Groble, Heather was with a Chicago-based law firm which specializes in management-side labor and employment litigation and tort defense. She began her career in the non-profit sector, working as a regional manager for the American Heart Association and as the Director of Donor Relations for Amethyst Inc., one of the midwest's largest long-term housing and addiction treatment programs for homeless women.
